Getting Started: From Fast-Track to Mastery

The 5-Day Promise: Our agents are designed to compress what traditionally takes months of product development into a 5-day agentic sprint. This guide explains how your journey begins.

Your experience with Masterminds operates on two levels: the Fast-Track Onboarding (to grasp the power of the system) and the Day-to-Day Operation (where you execute your vision).

1. The Fast-Track Experience (Your "First Run")

When you first arrive at Masterminds, you enter a Fast-Track Product Development Experience. This is not a tutorial; it is a real-time demonstration of how an Agentic Product Team tackles a challenge from end-to-end.

The Input: Defining Your Trajectory

You have three strategic paths at this stage:

  1. The Visionary Path: You have a specific idea.

    • Input: "Build a B2B SaaS for logistics tracking."
    • Result: Master Eric immediately begins validating this specific concept.
  2. The Explorer Path (No Spark?): You have the ambition but not the idea.

    • Input: "Find me a winner!"
    • Result: Master Eric scans market trends to propose high-viability opportunities for you to choose from.
  3. The Service Path: You want to build a service, not just software.

    • Input: "Create a concierge service for digital nomads."
    • Result: The agent adapts the framework to service design (blueprints instead of wireframes).

The Execution: Master Eric Takes the Helm

In this phase, Master Eric (our Generalist Product Master) acts as your proactive co-founder. He runs a compressed version of the strategy lifecycle.

  • Zero-Friction Context: You cannot upload files here. This is intentional. We want you to experience how much value the AI can generate from zero context using its internal reasoning frameworks.
  • The Artifact: Within moments, you receive a Product Opportunity Analysis (POA). This document serves as the foundation, showing you the depth of reasoning (Problem-Solution Fit, Market Sizing, Risks) that the system is capable of.

Continuity: Enter Master Linus

The Fast-Track doesn't stop at strategy. Once the POA is approved, you can seamlessly transition to Master Linus (Product Delivery Master).

  • The Handoff: Linus consumes the strategy generated by Eric.
  • The Output: He generates precise Technical Specifications and Build Prompts tailored for AI coding tools (like Cursor, Windsurf, or Replit).
  • The Result: You move from "Idea" to "Ready to Code" in a single session.

2. Graduating to the Integrated Product Environment (IPE)

Once you sign up, you cross the threshold into the Day-to-Day Operation. You graduate from the Fast-Track to the Integrated Product Environment (IPE).

You will likely never use the homepage flow again. Your new operational reality is the Initiative.

The Initiative: Your Persistent Workspace

An Initiative is the container for your entire product lifecycle. Unlike the initial onboarding chat, an Initiative is designed for long-term evolution. It remembers every decision, every document, and every pivot.

The Standard Workflow: Choosing Your Specialist

As your product matures, you will need more than a generalist. In the IPE, you orchestrate a team of deep specialists. When you click Create Chat, you choose the exact "Brain" for your current challenge:

  • Phase 1: Customer Discovery -> Choose Master Steve

    • Why: You need to interview synthetic personas or analyze raw user feedback to find "unmet needs." Steve is constitutionally bound to challenge your assumptions and prove the problem exists.
  • Phase 2: Strategy & Roadmap -> Choose Master Tony

    • Why: You need to prioritize features based on Outcome-Driven Innovation (ODI). Tony ignores "cool features" and focuses purely on underserved customer needs to maximize value.
  • Phase 3: Visual Communication -> Choose Gump

    • Why: You need to turn a dry data table into a compelling narrative or chart for stakeholders. Gump specializes in data storytelling.

The Power of Context Reference

In the Onboarding flow, the agent started fresh. In the IPE, the agents have Total Recall.

  • Cross-Agent Intelligence: You can ask Master Tony (Strategy) to "Reference the user interviews from Master Steve (Discovery)." He will pull that specific context to justify his roadmap.
  • Asset Injection: This is where you upload your PDF research, CSV data, or existing codebases. You ground the agents in your specific reality.
